Our Health Guarantee Policy
Our Health Guarantee Policy:
We put a lot of time and effort into breeding and raising healthy, good quality, and well socialize puppies, once the puppy leaves our home you must do your part to ensure the puppies well-being.
We have raised our puppies from sound parents as your puppy is special to us and forever holds a place in our hearts. We held your puppy the second it took its first breath. We were there when he/she had their first steps. We were there when they first opened their tiny eyes. Your puppy is not a toy, or an accessory, it is a baby depending on you for his/her well-being. It is your responsibility to take good care of him/her to ensure a long healthy life. You play an important role in helping your puppy grow into a healthy adult.
Health Guarantee:
This Health Guarantee applies only to the original buyer. If your puppy is diagnosed with a life threatening congenital defect attributed solely to a hereditary problem making him/her unsuitable as a pet before 1 year from the puppy’s date of birth and is not due to an accident, injury or neglect. Our Health Guarantee will provide either a refund or replacement to be considered. However, refund or replacement will be our choosing.
Our puppies are 100% guaranteed to be in good health and free of any signs of infection and any contagious or communicable diseases at the time of pickup. We take pride in the fact that our relationship with you does not end when you take home a puppy from us. As a family of breeders, die-hard puppy lovers, we’d like to believe nothing can ever go wrong with our puppies. However, certain things are never under our control.
We the seller certify that the puppy you purchase is in sound health at the time of sale to the best of our knowledge, and has been given all vaccinations and worming’s stated on the vaccination record provided to the buyer(s). We do our best to provide the new owner with a healthy puppy.
All puppies are guaranteed healthy when they leave our home, a licensed veterinarian has inspected the puppies and has been found to be healthy and sound and is not showing signs of infectious, contagious and /or communicable diseases.
While we may not be able to guarantee that your puppy will never have a health problem, we guarantee to do our best to ensure your new family member is a healthy one.
BUYER RESPONSIBILITY:
You must have your puppy well checked by your own veterinarian with an initial exam within 72 hours of pick up. Once completed a copy of proof of such examination must be sent to me within 10 business days of picking up your puppy up in order to validate the Health Guarantee.
A puppy’s health is dependent on a lot of factors like genetics, exercise, food & nourishment and overall care.
The buyer is responsible for further vaccination, boosters and worming’s and all vet bills.
Spaying/Neutering is highly recommended if you are not planning on breeding. If you do choose to spay or neuter it will be at your own expense we are just giving a recommendation.
The puppy cannot be bought for resale. The puppy should be maintained and kept under the personal control of the buyer. The buyer should provide adequate housing, food, vet care, and shall in no manner be mistreated, neglected or allowed to roam freely.
Puppy must not be euthanized without prior written approval from the breeder or this guarantee is void.
If circumstances become so that the buyer cannot keep this dog, buyer promises not to discard the dog at any shelter, humane society, or rescue group, the dog shall be returned to the breeder. If you are not able to keep this pup in the future and wish to return it to the seller, you may do so along with all the paperwork provided by their seller at the time of purchase. You WILL NOT receive a refund for this pup or any expenses you have incurred such as vet expenses.
Failure to provide your puppy with regular vet care will go against this health guarantee
Health Guarantee Covers:
I. In the event that your vet does diagnosis a life threatening genetic defect at the initial exam within 72 hours of purchase.
An original signed and stamped, official veterinary report is required with the following: (This is at the buyer’s expense)

(This is at the buyer’s expense) The puppy must be return within two days of the exam with all papers (registration, pet guarantee, shot record, etc.) We the seller will not be responsible for any expenses the buyer may incur, including but not limited to vet expenses.
II. In case of death of the puppy before the initial exam within 72 hours of purchase.
An original signed and stamped, official licensed veterinarian’s necropsy/autopsy report as to the cause of death is required with the following: (This is at the buyer’s expense)
** The death must be entirely due to a life threatening congenital defect, or genetic defect attributed solely to a hereditary problem. We the seller will review all reports for determination. We reserve the right to confirm the diagnosis with a vet of our choice. We the seller will not be responsible for any expenses the buyer may incur, including but not limited to vet expenses.

(Refund or replacement is determined by the seller)
The following stipulations must be adhered to:
An original signed and stamped, official licensed veterinarian’s report stating, without a doubt, the puppy has a life threatening congenital defect, or genetic defect attributed solely to a hereditary problem that would hinder the puppy. (This is at the buyer’s expense) The report will need to include the following information:
** We reserve the right to have the diagnosis verified by another veterinarian of our choice or/and to require the buyer to have specific tests run on the puppy to verify the diagnosis. (This is at the buyer’s expense) We the seller will not be responsible for any expenses the buyer may incur, including but not limited to vet expenses.
Health Guarantee does not cover:
I. Communicable diseases
II. Anything which was a result of accident, injury or neglect after your puppy’s arrival.
III. Cover any costs associated with spaying or neutering, including undescended testes.
IV. Parasites, as a puppy can pick these up in overnight travel. Your puppy will be up to date on worming’s and should be wormed regularly as recommended by your vet.
V. Any stress or environmentally induced disorders such as, but not limited to kennel cough, pneumonia, cold, giardia, coccidiosis, etc., anything that is beyond our control once your puppy leaves our premise.
VI. Curable diseases are not covered: localized mange, cherry eye, bladder stones, inverted eye-lids, inverted tails, grade 1 and 2 heart murmur, grade 1, 2, 3 and 4 patellar luxation, testicular problems.
VII. There are no guarantees, expressed or implied, as to adult size of the puppy, show potential, temperament, or breeding soundness.
VIII. We are not responsible for any veterinarian bills or charges once your puppy leaves our premises. As a dog owner, you agree to provide your puppy with the needed medical care. Set up a vaccination and check-up appointment with your trusted veterinarian. Dogs should adhere to their vaccination schedule to avoid catching preventable diseases.
IX. Buyer understands that the following slight defects are not considered life threatening and therefore are not covered–hernias, un-descended testicle, under or over bites. Because luxating patellas and collapsing trachea can be caused by injury, they are not covered after vet’s initial exam.
X. Hypoglycemia - The two most common health issues that your puppy could develop, after coming home with you, are Hypoglycemia and Coccidiosis. With Hypoglygemia (low blood sugar), keep a close look out for excessive lethargy. If hypoglycemic, the puppy will start acting depressed. You may notice your puppy unwilling to get up or he may be very unsteady on his feet. With more progressed hypoglycemia, he may even be unable to stand. I require that the new owner purchase “Nutra-Stat” (made by Tomlyn) or "Nutrical" before you take possession of the puppy. This is to have on hand in case your puppy should show signs of Hypoglycemia. The best way to avoid hypoglycemia is to make certain that your puppy is getting enough to eat.
Owning a dog is a financial commitment so it is important to consider these and any other extra future expenses in case your puppy gets sick. Since veterinary costs can quickly stack up, getting your puppy pet insurance and taking your pet to the veterinarian as soon as symptoms start are important to maintain your puppy's health.
Buyer has read the hypoglycemia information including prevention, symptoms and treatment.
